About Dr. Fontenot
Who I Am
Dr. Austin Fontenot is a Doctor of Chiropractic with more than a decade of clinical experience helping patients better understand and manage musculoskeletal pain, injury, and physical function.
A graduate of Parker University, Dr. Fontenot has pursued additional training in clinical nutrition, applied kinesiology, dry needling, rehabilitation, and integrative approaches to health. His clinical experience has given him a particular interest in the evaluation and conservative management of spinal and musculoskeletal conditions, as well as the role that exercise, nutrition, recovery, and emerging therapies may play in long-term health and performance.
Throughout his career, Dr. Fontenot has maintained a simple philosophy: patients deserve clear information, thoughtful evaluation, and recommendations grounded in the best available evidence rather than hype.
Draustinfontenot.com was created as an extension of that philosophy. Here, Dr. Fontenot explores the research behind chiropractic care, rehabilitation, nutrition, regenerative medicine, and other developing areas of health and performance. The goal is not to promote a single treatment or philosophy, but to help readers understand what the evidence actually says, where uncertainty remains, and how that information can be applied in the real world.
